Designing since 1994, Christina’s vast experience and keen eye has enabled her to create warm, sophisticated interiors that are timeless and tailored, while remaining friendly and approachable. Christina believes that interiors are to be lived in and reflect the people who reside in the space. “Every interior should be functional while remaining aesthetically purposeful and elegant.” Christina is a member of the Monogram Designer Collective.
Q: WHERE IS THE MOST INSPIRING PLACE YOU’VE VISITED?
A: I always get inspired when I’m traveling because I love experiencing other cultures and seeing how others live. My favorite place is Turkey. The Grand Bazaar’s numerous kiosks sell everything from Kilim rugs, Turkish teas, Turkish delights and spices, to colorful crafts in all shapes and sizes. It was amazing…particularly the spice section. Overall, the Grand Bazaar offers a visually pleasing and aromatically charged walking experience, with vivid colors and herbal scents.
Q: WHO INSPIRES YOU?
A: Michelle Obama. She is intelligent and gets things done. She’s a great role model and I highly respect her.
Q: WHEN DID YOU KNOW YOU WERE GOING TO BE A DESIGNER?
A: I’ve always been a visual person. When I was young, I was always attracted to sparkling items. The more sparkles, the better!
Q: WHAT IS YOUR MOST FAVORITE ROOM IN YOUR HOUSE RIGHT NOW?
A: The most favorite room in my house right now is my outdoor patio. I live in a historical landmark house that was built in the 1700s. When I walk outside, I feel like I’m in Tuscany. It’s a large yard and the floor is an old stone floor pieced together.
Q: WHAT IS YOUR MOST FAVORITE PROJECT?
A: My two most favorite projects were renovating the Oceania Cruise Line Ralph Lauren Marina suites and I also loved the soup to nuts renovation of a West Village townhouse.
Q: WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY COVETING?
A: My new Boston Terrier puppy named Cookie.
Q: WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE COCKTAIL?
A: Vodka Gimlet with real lime juice, no sugar, and served in a martini glass.

A: I was a singer in a rock band called Swelter in the 90s.
